Daniel Blakeslee is a serial entrepreneur, pastor, college professor, husband, father and grandfather. He lives with his wife, Michele, in Chesapeake, Virginia. He consults with non-profit organizations, churches and businesses to help them tell their story by leveraging the power of the Internet marketing and social media.
Dan was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. He accepted Jesus Christ as Savior at the age of 17. After graduating from high school he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He volunteered for the Submarine Service. During his initial training he met Rose Michele Duncan, whom he would marry a year later.
Daniel graduated in the top 10% of his classes at Naval Nuclear Power School, Nuclear Prototype Training Unit and Engineering Laboratory Technician School. His first assignment was the famous submarine USS Lapon. He served as a nuclear power plant operator and chemist (ELT). He served on two other submarines, USS Bluefish and USS Flying Fish, as the Leading Engineering Laboratory Technician and Engineering Watch Supervisor. He also qualified as a Radiological Controls Shift Supervisor. In near record time Daniel advanced to Chief Petty Officer.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology while in the Navy. He earned his Master of Arts degree at Baptist Bible Graduate School and completed the Master of Divinity from Baptist University of America and the Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Information Systems. Dan was awarded the Doctor of Pedagogy (Honoris Causa) from American International University.
Daniel served as the Senior Pastor of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, the Executive Pastor of the High Street Baptist Church and Lead Pastor of the Noble Hill Baptist Church, all in Missouri. He was the Director of Operations for the Baptist Bible Fellowship International and on the faculty and administration of Baptist Bible College and Graduate School. Daniel is currently serving as the Administrative Pastor at the Point Harbor Community Church in Chesapeake, Virginia.
